This Victorian country house had begun its next chapter having been passed on to the families next generation. Their want was to bring a young and contemporary feel to various areas of the home whilst being sympathetic to the original characteristics and features of the property. A large extension was added to the dwelling in the form of a sun room, creating an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. An existing snug room was brought up to date and a double aspect fireplace successfully integrated, complimenting the original and ornate fire surround, linking the cosy snug to the sun room.
